However, many bands had spoken of the sounds that focus on (ie, distorted guitars and power chords) before starting to hone in on the potential for impulse noise.
In 1964, for example, The Kinks You Really Got launched, focusing on distorted guitar riffs via disc. There is much to say about the guitar on the debut album of The Velvet Underground, The Velvet Underground and Nico.
